of the Ignition Interlock Device. Please contact

The
ignition interlock program was enacted in 2002.
It requires that a device be installed on the
vehicles of persons convicted of DUI after July
1, 2002 upon eligibility of reinstatement for
a permanent or restricted driver license. The
device is also required if an individual applies
for a restricted license for work after a DUI
conviction. Persons falling under this program
will be issued a “P” restriction
on their license indicating that an ignition
interlock is required.

are the costs?
